“These are honestly some of the delicious cookies I’ve ever had. There are so many different varieties to choose from, and every flavor is absolutely amazing. Ordering and payment are also super easy and convenient, which makes the whole experience even better. But let’s talk about the cookies—the flavor, texture, and overall quality are so good. Hi, I'm Dee.

Who’s Your Baker?

Hi, I’m Denise, but my family lovingly calls me Dee Dee or Dee. I’m the owner and baker behind Vitamin Dee Bakeshop. I’m so happy you’re here!

I’m a creative at heart. I’ve always loved making things, trying something new, and spending time with the people I care about. Baking brings those loves together in a way that feels like home to me.

My curiosity about baking began as a child and stayed with me as I grew up. About 15 years ago, I started teaching myself in my own kitchen through research, experimentation, and plenty of trial and error. I fell in love with creating something delicious and sharing it with the people I love.

Over the past 15 years, I’ve discovered that some of my favorite moments happen when people gather around something I’ve made. Seeing someone smile after their first bite is special. Watching them settle in, share stories, and enjoy being together means even more.

Those moments became the heart of Vitamin Dee Bakeshop. Connection matters deeply to me. I know life can feel lonely and heavy sometimes, and I want my baking to give people a reason to reach out, pull up a chair, and spend a little time together. My hope is to build a community where people feel welcome, cared for, and glad they came.

Whether you’re bringing cookies to a family gathering, surprising a friend, or saving a treat for a quiet moment of your own, I want every bite to feel like someone made it with you in mind.

Vitamin Dee Bakeshop is a licensed and insured home bakery serving Rotterdam, Schenectady, and the surrounding Capital District. Everything is baked with care by someone who loves making things and loves sharing them even more.

What's the minimum order?
Our minimum is a half dozen (6 cookies), and you can mix and match flavors freely within a box. Three dozen (36 cookies) or more (events, offices, weddings) is handled as a custom order — head to our ordering site and choose the custom option to get started.
When can I order?
[Placeholder.] Standard pre-orders open every Sunday at 9 AM and close Tuesday at 8 PM (New York time). Custom orders can be requested any time.
Pickup or delivery?
Pickup is available in Rotterdam, NY. Local delivery is offered within a set radius for a small fee. You’ll choose your preferred option and see the exact delivery zones and fees when you order through our ordering site.
How much lead time do you need?
Preorders open Sunday at 9 AM and close Tuesday at 8 PM for Saturday pickup. Orders of three dozen or more are considered custom orders, and we recommend placing your request at least two weeks in advance. Additional notice is encouraged for holidays and other high-demand dates, as availability may be limited.
Do you accommodate allergies?
Our cookies are made in a home kitchen that is not allergen-free. They may contain milk, eggs, wheat, soy, and peanuts, and we are not a nut-free facility. Please ask before ordering if you have a serious allergy.
How do custom orders work?
For three dozen or more (events, offices, weddings, corporate gifts), submit a custom request on our ordering site. Tell us your date, quantity, and flavors. We’ll confirm the details and send a secure Square payment link once your quote is ready. No payment is required until you approve the quote.
How do I pay?
All payments are handled securely through Square on our ordering site. Standard boxes are paid right at checkout; custom orders are paid via a Square payment link once your quote is confirmed.
